My concern with itbs, individual throttle bodies or more correctly there trumpets and the associated pulse wave from them, is more to do with maf sensors. Maf sensors work with trumpets I have a friend who loves it in his m44 bmw. So I can't see any reason that this wouldn't work?

I like the idea of the immortal vfm and another way to do this would be to read the signal from the vfm(voltage) plus have a maf just behind the vfm reading the same air flow. Then comparing the voltage graphs.
But I'm not convinced that either of these ideas would be good,
Firstly who's to say if the vfm is working or tuned correctly.
From my experience with this device my car runs smother and has better performance because of the tuning and copying the vfm signal might not be the best idea.

That's excellent you got the converter, I'm surprised it took so long to get to you.
